Maybe itโ€™s not that you have too much responsibility โ€” maybe it is that youโ€™re carrying responsibility for the wrong things?

Insight

In leadership, many of us take on responsibilities from a contracted state:

โ€œI must make others happy.โ€

โ€œI must figure it all out myself.โ€

โ€œI am responsible for every outcome.โ€

This mindset drains energy, creates pressure, and ironically makes us less effective.

The shift is not to abandon responsibility, but to re-anchor it in what is truly ours to hold. Thatโ€™s the essence of grounded leadership from an expanded, generative state

Five Foundations of Inner Leadershipย

below is what it looks like across the Five Foundations of Inner Leadership:

ย ๐Ÿ‘‰ Next time you feel the pressure of responsibility, pause and ask: Am I holding what is truly mine โ€” or carrying what belongs to others, or to life itself?

When responsibility is right-sized, leaders donโ€™t collapse under its weight โ€” they come alive in it.
