Maybe itโs not that you have too much responsibility โ maybe it is that youโre carrying responsibility for the wrong things?
Insight
In leadership, many of us take on responsibilities from a contracted state:
โI must make others happy.โ
โI must figure it all out myself.โ
โI am responsible for every outcome.โ
This mindset drains energy, creates pressure, and ironically makes us less effective.
The shift is not to abandon responsibility, but to re-anchor it in what is truly ours to hold. Thatโs the essence of grounded leadership from an expanded, generative state
Five Foundations of Inner Leadershipย
below is what it looks like across the Five Foundations of Inner Leadership:
ย ๐ Next time you feel the pressure of responsibility, pause and ask: Am I holding what is truly mine โ or carrying what belongs to others, or to life itself?
When responsibility is right-sized, leaders donโt collapse under its weight โ they come alive in it.
